A customer presented their 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, experiencing surging and high idling issues. Our technician conducted a scan, revealing codes indicative of a vacuum leak. A smoke test was performed on the intake manifold, exposing vacuum leaks in the intake manifold gaskets, fuel injector o-rings, EGR tube o-ring, PCV valve, and brake booster check valve. All compromised components were replaced, and the vehicle was restarted to confirm the elimination of leaks.
