A customer brought in a customized 1990 GMC Sonoma mud bogger for a motor swap at our facility. Our team installed a customer-provided crate engine and replaced all front drive accessories. A custom power steering hose was fabricated by our technician. The frame was reinforced with a 3/8” steel plate, both internally and externally, at the steering box. A new bumper-to-bumper fuse box wiring harness was installed, and a custom shifter was crafted for the transfer case. To eliminate binding during steering, our technician removed a single u-joint coupling from the steering shaft and replaced it with a double u-joint coupling and shaft holder.
