This 1978 Jeep CJ-5 came in with an oil leak on the driver side of the engine. Upon inspection, we identified a head gasket issue and a cracked cylinder head near the exhaust stud, plus a cracked exhaust manifold. The customer opted for major upgrades: an Edelbrock aluminum performance cylinder head, Offenhauser performance intake, and stainless steel exhaust header. These changes revitalized the 4.2L engine, giving it a substantial power boost and a remarkable appearance.
