A 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was brought in by a customer for an oil change and check engine light diagnosis. Our technician completed the oil change and scanned the vehicle for codes, which indicated a small EVAP leak. A cracked EVAP purge jumper hose was found at the purge valve during an inspection of the EVAP system and was replaced. Furthermore, codes related to the driver's front seat airbag were detected, but no wiring issues were found between the occupant control module and the airbag, leading to the conclusion that the airbag had an internal fault. The customer chose to replace the airbag and will return to the shop once the part arrives.
